Fiber P is an alfalfa based chaff with micronised cereals and herbs. Added to a horse's diet it provides additional dust free, long fibre, which aids digestion and prevents bolting.

Fiber P is a blend of chaff and cooked cereals providing a high energy forage suitable for performance horses.
Fiber P can be used as replacement for bran or low energy chaff for performance horses that need to maintain their energy intake.
If you are feeding large meals of compound feed it is recommended that the Fiber P is fed separately, for example as a lunch time feed, as this will help increase chewing time and saliva production. Saliva will help to 'buffer' gastric acid in the stomach, which may be useful for horses that are prone to gastric ulcers.
Herbs are also added to the chaff to improve palatability and encourage poor appetites or fussy feeders.
